2017 Projects:

The major projects for 2017 included a complete assessment of all streams in our jurisdiction. We identified all areas requiring special attention. Major work involved building brush matts on the Foley’s Pond watershed and completing work at Wilkies Pond. There was daily monitoring of the fish ladder at Gordon’s Pond throughout the summer and into fall. We completed work at Marchbank Pond to enhance the fish way. Two fishing platforms were erected for people with mobility issues at Profit’s Pond. Stage one of the repairs to the berm at the Alberton Motel was completed. We also carried out repairs to rock pools at Meggison’s Creek and Profit’s Pond.
